Weaver Park is home to Hilliard’s Historical Village. Here you can take a step back in time and learn what it was like to live during pioneer times. You can visit the museum, where antiques from yesteryears are donated by residents and displayed, or you can tour the village and learn about Hilliard’s rich history. With a shelter house and a picnic area, you can come and enjoy nature, while also learning a little bit about your hometown. The Historical Village is maintained by the Historical Society, which provides tours of the area. While the park is open to the public during normal park hours, the Historical Society provides tours during select hours. To learn more about their fees and the history of the park, please visit their website.
You can rent the church and their beautiful new gazebo for weddings, funerals, and special services. To get pricing and speak to someone about renting the venue, please contact the Historical Society at (614) 876-5880.
