Lesson Placement Days give you guidance on what swim level to register for. An instructor will spend a few minutes in the water assessing current skills and recommend the best level for a safe, successful, and fun swim experience. Placement days are available prior to program registration for all group lessons.
Lesson Placement Days have no cost and are offered every other Sunday morning (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) and Thursday evening (5 to 7 p.m.). Registraion is encouraged, but day of drop-ins are accepted when space allows.
Lesson Placement Days are designed for children ages 3-12 years who are new th City of HIlliard swim lessons or who are returning after an extended break. During evaluation, participants will be assessed to determine the appropriate swim lesson level before registraion, helping ensure they are enrolled in the class that best matches their current skill level.
Individuals who are currently enrolled in City of Hilliard swim lessons do not need to attend a Lesson Placement Day. They will be evaluated by their instructor, and guardians will receive guidence on what level to register for next based on their swimmer’s progress.
