Shelter Houses

Looking for a convenient, outdoor venue perfect for picnics, gatherings, or community events? Our five shelter houses at Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park offer a relaxed, comfortable setting you can reserve hassle‑free.

Shelter Houses

There are five shelter houses available for reservation in Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park. The rental fee is $150 per day for residents and $200 for non-residents (10 a.m. – 9 p.m.). Reservations must be made online.

Park shelters are for public purposes only. Groups renting City facilities are not permitted to charge admission or registration fees. Groups may not host events that raise funds for personal or for-profit organizations. There are no kitchen amenities available for public use at the facilities.

Shelter reservations are accepted through our online portal. You must have a WebTrac account and a valid verification pass to make a reservation.

Scroll to the bottom of WebTrac and click on the red pinpoints on the map to reserve a shelter. When making your reservation, do not adjust the time. Reservations automatically block the entire day. We do not time-block shelter house reservations.

Green Space & Fields

Field Reservations and Priority Scheduling

Due to high demand, organizations are given priority scheduling for certain fields in exchange for fees and maintenance agreements. For more information about our fields and associated fees, please contact sports1@hilliardohio.gov.

Refunds for Facility and Athletic Field Rentals

The City does not issue refunds for facility and athletic field fees (or down payments, if applicable) if a cancellation is made fewer than 30 days before the reservation date. This provides minimal opportunity for another party to rent the space.

A refund, minus a 10% service charge, may be approved if a written request is submitted at least 30 days before the rental date.

Exception: A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve major multi-field complexes. This deposit will be credited toward the final payment. If the reservation is canceled, the deposit is forfeited. At the City’s discretion, the deposit may be credited toward another event or reservation, provided there were no prior cancellations by the reserving party.

Special requests may be reviewed by the Director of Recreation and Parks upon written submission.
