Hilliard ensures inclusive programs and creates accommodation plans to support participant needs.
The City of Hilliard Recreation and Parks Department is committed to providing inclusive and accessible recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities. We strive to cultivate a welcoming environment in our facilities, programs, and parks in which we remove barriers for every member of our community.
All of our programs are open to participants of all abilities. If your child needs accommodations, please contact a recreation supervisor before registering so we can discuss their needs and develop an appropriate plan.
Please make note that programs offered are recreational based, not therapeutic, and do not provide one-on-one or behavioral support services. Accommodations may include support based on an IEP or 504 plan.
Contact us at (614) 876-5200 to be directed to the appropriate Recreation Supervisor.
